What is Pediatric Physiotherapy?
Pediatric physiotherapists work with children from infancy through adolescence to address a variety of
conditions that affect movement and physical abilities. They use specialized techniques tailored to the
unique needs of children.
Special education is the practice of educating students with special needs in a way that addresses their individual differences and needs. Ideally, this process involves the individually planned and systematically monitored arrangement of teaching procedures, adapted equipment and materials, and accessible settings. Clinical psychology is a broad branch of psychology that focuses on diagnosing and treating mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Some of the more common disorders that might be treated include learning disabilities, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
Early intervention is a system of support and education for children and young people who are at risk of poor outcomes. It can help children with developmental delays or disabilities, or who are victims of or at risk for child abuse or neglect. Early intervention programs can take place before or at preschool age, as early as 2 or 3 years old
